01Introduction

Mr.Talk ("we", "us", "our") is operated by MHADEV MOBILE TELECOM PRIVATE LIMITED. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Mr.Talk mobile application (the "App") and related services, including our buyer marketplace and seller platform for electronics and audio accessories.

By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

02Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email address, and phone number, used to create and secure your account and to send One-Time Passwords (OTP) for login verification.
• Order & delivery information — shipping addresses, order history, and order status.
• Payment information — processed via our payment partner, Cashfree. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details on our own servers (see Payments).
• Device & usage information — device type, operating system, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs, used to keep the App stable and secure.
• Location information — with your permission, approximate location may be used to improve delivery address accuracy and estimate shipping.
• Push notification tokens — used to send order updates, back-in-stock alerts, and promotional notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Seller information (for users who register as sellers) — shop name, business details, GSTIN (if provided), and product listing content. See Seller Account Information.

03How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account, and verify your identity via email/phone OTP.
• To process and fulfil orders, including coordinating with sellers and payment processing.
• To send transactional notifications (order status, OTPs) and, where you have not opted out, promotional notifications (e.g. back-in-stock alerts).
• To maintain and improve the App's performance, reliability, and security.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms.
• To review and approve seller product submissions before they appear in the marketplace.

04Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on the following third-party service providers to operate the App. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

We do not control how these providers process data beyond what we configure for the App's functionality; we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies for further detail.

05How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With sellers — when you place an order, relevant order and delivery details are shared with the seller fulfilling that order.
• With service providers — as listed in Third-Party Services We Use, strictly to operate the App.
• For legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.

06Seller Account Information

If you register as a seller on Mr.Talk, we additionally collect your shop name, owner name, business address, phone number, business type, and — where applicable — your GSTIN, in order to verify your seller account and enable marketplace payouts and compliance. Seller verification submissions are reviewed by our internal team before approval.

Product listings submitted by sellers (including images, descriptions, and pricing) are reviewed before being published to buyers, and may be rejected or removed if they violate our marketplace guidelines.

07Payments

All payments made through the App are processed by Cashfree Payments, a licensed third-party payment gateway. Card numbers, UPI IDs, and bank account details are entered directly into Cashfree's secure interface and are not stored on Mr.Talk's own servers. We receive only confirmation of payment status and a transaction reference to fulfil your order.

08Data Retention

We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see Your Rights & Choices).

09Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated API access, and access-controlled databases — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction — you can view and update your profile information from within the App.
• Account deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us (see below). We will process such requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention requirements.
• Notification preferences — promotional push notifications can be disabled from your device's notification settings.
• Location permission — can be revoked at any time from your device settings; core ordering features will still work, but delivery-address suggestions may be less accurate.

11Children's Privacy

Mr.Talk is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

12Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
